The Metro Ultra Xtreme Rad is an ultra low emission (ULEB) freestanding wood fire built for larger family living areas where you want a strong flame picture and serious heat delivery. It uses a robust 6 mm steel firebox with firebrick lining and includes a convection fan to help move warm air more effectively into the room
With an 18 kW peak heat output and an estimated heating coverage up to 200 m2, the Ultra Xtreme Rad sits at the top end of the Metro freestanding range for clean burning performance. This model is not designed to take a wetback, so it suits households focused on room heating rather than water heating support.
