The Metro Smart Insert is a clean air approved wood fire designed to modernise an existing masonry fireplace opening, or to be built into a timber framed cavity when paired with the Smart Insert Vented Zero Clearance Cabinet and ECO flue options. It is built around a compact but capable firebox, delivering a tested 15 kW peak heat output with the kind of clean lines that suit newer renovations and updated living spaces.
For homes that want the look of an inbuilt fire without sacrificing performance, the Smart Insert targets up to 150 m2 of heating coverage and can be specified with an optional Smart wetback configuration (where applicable) to support water heating needs.
