The Maxen Forbury 550 is an inbuilt insert wood fire designed for reliable whole room warmth, with an installation profile that suits both retrofit upgrades and more modern fit outs. It is commonly positioned as a replacement option for older wood burners or open fireplaces, while still offering a clean, built in look.
For new build style installs, the Forbury 550 can be installed into a timber framed cavity using an optional zero clearance kit, giving it flexibility beyond traditional masonry fireplace settings.
